Veggie Sausage Roll and a Coffee Please!

Let’s start with a welcome to Mad Hatters catering, who took over our café this week. We would like to thank them for the sweet potato fries and cooked breakfasts and many other lovely things they have brought into our lives. I haven’t tried the falafel burger yet (and I can’t quite believe it’s taking me so long) but I’m very excited about it.

We’ve started selling tickets for The Ugly Duckling, the magical new production from Sherman Cymru and Theatr Genedlaethol which will be here on 20th and 21st November.  This means I am visiting lots of lovely schools to talk about the show and hopefully arrange for some school groups to come and watch. If your child’s school is not able to come don’t worry – tickets are on sale to the public too so you can come along (it’s aimed at under 7s but it’ll be a treat for the whole family to enjoy). The show tells the heart-warming story of the Ugly Duckling as he goes on an exciting journey of discovery, meeting new friends and eventually finding his true home. After meeting with Sara the Director and hearing some fabulous details about the show I can’t wait to watch it.

It has been great to meet lots of new students from The College Merthyr Tydfil this week, who are starting their studies at REDHOUSE.  We hope you enjoy your time here – and don’t be afraid to stop by the front desk to say hello, we do like to get to know all our REDHOUSE alumni!

Have a great weekend – and don’t forget it’s the Jewellery Fair and workshops tomorrow, 10am until 4pm.
